This new status marks the beginning of a new era for this much-loved event, with both domestic and international participation expected to grow substantially in the years ahead.
    How to set up a fundraising page in the Sydney Marathon
Creating a fundraising page in the Sydney Marathon is easy, even if your organisation hasn’t invested in a Charity Package. While there are a few different ways to set up a page, we’ve provided best practice instructions for all connected charities below.
Step 1: As a connected charity, direct your supporters to your Sydney Marathon Campaign Page so they can sign up via your unique Register Now button that will preselect your charity during the event’s official ballot registration process.
Step 2: Once the ballot results are announced, we'll automatically create fundraising pages for successful applicants who opted to fundraise for charity during registration. Each fundraiser will receive an email with a link to their page.
Step 3: Once claimed, your supporter can customise their page before sharing it with their network and asking for support
