The World's Largest Fun Run - The City2Surf - will be back in Sydney on Sunday 10 August 2025.
Bringing 90,000+ people together from all walks of life to run, jog, walk or stroll the iconic 14km course from Sydney CBD to Bondi Beach. Giving back has become the beating heart of this event, with an incredible $59 million raised for hundreds of worthy causes since the tally was first recorded in 2008.
How to set up a fundraising page in City2Surf
Creating a fundraising page in City2Surf is easy, even if your organisation hasn’t invested in a Charity Package. While there are a few different ways to set up a page, we’ve provided best practice instructions for all beneficiary charities below.
Step 1: As a connected charity, direct your supporters to your City2Surf Campaign Page so they can sign up via your unique Register Now button that will preselect your charity during the event’s official registration process.
Step 2: When your supporter completes the registration process, we will create their fundraising page and send them an email with a link to claim it.
Step 3: Once claimed, your supporter can customise their page before sharing it with their network and asking for support.

Fundraiser Communications
Grassrootz sends a best-practice communications journey to all City2Surf fundraisers to help activate them post sign-up and promote key incentives like Run with Heart Month. These communications are event-branded by default, but you can opt to create your own charity-branded journey for an additional cost.

Charity Packages
Charity Packages are available to purchase to help you maximise the unique fundraising and brand-building opportunity City2Surf provides. A Charity Package will also ensure that your charity is visible within the official City2Surf registration flow which is viewed by over 90,000 participants.
